The world’s elites love to lecture the rest of us about “forced migration.” They never ask why all these migrants are leaving their homes in droves. The answer is simple: hunger and poverty. But instead of fixing the real problem, globalists hand-wring and demand America open its borders while blaming everyday Americans for the world’s woes.
Now, even religious leaders step onto the world stage trying to sound noble, as Pope Leo XIV did this week in Rome. He visited the headquarters of the World Food Program and talked about the need to fight hunger to stop mass migration. It’s almost comical—after years of politicians and NGOs demanding the West absorb millions of migrants, suddenly the conversation shifts to actually solving the crisis at its source. Wouldn’t it have been nice if they had figured that out before flooding Western countries with endless migrants and all the chaos and crime that followed?
Left-wing bureaucrats love to blame conservative Americans every time a migrant caravan heads north. It’s never the failed socialist governments driving their own people to desperation. It’s never the corrupt regimes or the aid organizations that line their pockets instead of feeding the hungry. Liberals cry “racism” the minute anyone dares to point this out. But let’s be real: people would rather stay in their own countries if those places were safe and prosperous.
So when Pope Leo XIV finally admits that stopping hunger would reduce migration, it’s almost an accidental moment of honesty. Maybe the globalist class could stop lecturing America for five minutes and actually support policies that fix these broken nations. Instead, what’s their solution? Ship more billions overseas with no oversight, demand open borders, and leave American families footing the bill.
If only the rest of the leftist elite would follow the Pope’s lead for once—tackle hunger and fix broken countries before demanding America roll out the red carpet for every migrant. Or is blaming the United States just too easy for them to give up?
