Yes, asbestos—the same toxic, banned material that governments swore they’d never let near workers again. But thanks to the “green revolution,” it’s back, hiding inside imported wind turbines from none other than China.
For years, left-wing politicians and eco-obsessed elites have lectured everyone about “saving the planet” with wind power. They claimed it was the safe, modern, responsible choice. Now we’re learning that their rush to virtue signal was so sloppy, they didn’t even stop to ask what was inside the shiny new hardware. Apparently, trusting Chinese manufacturers with public health is just par for the course when globalist profits are on the line.
Worker safety? Please. The same bureaucrats who pushed for these wind farms are the ones putting British lives in danger. They pat themselves on the back for “banning asbestos,” while letting banned materials sneak in through their own “green” supply chains. How’s that for liberal hypocrisy?
