America’s national parks are packed but crumbling thanks to government failure and woke mismanagement

America’s national parks are about to be flooded by record crowds this summer. Interest is up a whopping 65% over last year, according to new travel forecasts. Folks from every corner of this great country want to pile in their cars, wave the flag, and enjoy the natural beauty God put here for us. But, as usual, there’s just one nasty roadblock waiting for them—government mismanagement.

While patriotic families are packing up for adventure, park officials are crying poor. Staffing is down. Facilities are falling apart. The people supposedly “in charge” claim they can’t do more with less. But here’s the dirty little secret the Left doesn’t want you to see: this is what top-down, bloated bureaucracy gets us. Year after year, the federal government gets more money—our money—yet somehow can’t keep bathrooms open and trails safe for the same taxpayers footing the bill.

Of course, liberals in D.C. are more interested in chasing woke projects and globalist schemes than making sure American families enjoy their own land. They’ll talk nonstop about “equity” and “green energy,” but don’t seem to have time or money to keep Old Faithful running smoothly. If they ran a business like they run our parks, they’d be bankrupt in five minutes. Are they really that clueless or just that uninterested in regular Americans?

Meanwhile, the demand to see America’s beauty has never been higher. Clearly, everyday citizens understand and appreciate this country more than the elites supposedly managing it. People want connection to real heritage, not another virtual reality lecture about climate change. They want to see bison roaming—sometimes a lot closer than the coastal snobs like.

America’s parks belong to the people, not the bureaucrats. If government can’t handle even this, maybe it’s time to kick these pencil-pushers to the curb and let local communities take charge for a change. Why trust people who have failed over and over again? This is the land of the free, not the land of endless red tape. Isn’t it time we get back to public servants who actually serve?
