Block tens of thousands of children—especially those in low-income neighborhoods—from escaping failing public schools. That’s not progress. That’s a power grab.

Programs like the Education Improvement Tax Credit and the Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit have been a lifeline for hard-working parents who want better for their kids. These tax credits let families use their own tax dollars to send their children to schools where they can actually learn and thrive. Now Democrats want to rip those opportunities away and stick our most vulnerable students right back into underperforming classrooms. Why? To appease their union cronies and keep the education monopoly happy.
