Democrats thought they finally had a shot in Texas, playing up wild polls and fantasy narratives. But when voters showed up, the left’s so-called “blue wave” turned out to be a ripple barely worth noticing.
Donald Trump flattened the competition in Texas, walking away with a crushing 14-point lead. The woke elite can whine about dream demographics and shifting tides all they want, but Texas voters aren’t buying what the Democrat Party is selling. This is a state that loves its guns, its freedom, and its independence—values liberals run from at every turn.
Meanwhile, Democrats tried peddling an unlikable, shady Senate candidate who makes people’s skin crawl. But Texans, toughened by years of left-wing media attacks and DC hypocrisy, can spot a phony from a mile away. The people weren’t about to swap a Trump-endorsed fighter for another progressive puppet sent from Washington. Maybe if Democrats focused on working families instead of globalist interests and social experiments, they’d have a shot outside their Twitter bubble.
But they never learn. Year after year, the establishment lines up to “flip Texas,” and year after year, Texans stomp out the nonsense. Liberals mistake a few hyped-up city blocks for a grassroots movement, all while ignoring the hard-working men and women who actually make the state tick. It’s a disconnect that gets wider every election cycle, yet the Democrat machine keeps the fairy tales flowing.
The left wants Texans to bow to woke policies, open borders, and anti-American mandates. But Texas just sent a message loud and clear: Keep your hands off our state. If Democrats are still wondering why their Senate fantasies keep crashing and burning, maybe it’s time they look in the mirror. Here’s a question: if Democrats can’t even win Texas with all their money and media, what hope do they really have anywhere else?
