It’s no surprise that the radical left is busy championing the rights of algae. Yes, you read that right—algae. As if they haven’t embarrassed themselves enough, now they’re holding protests by the Reflecting Pool, rooting for slimy green pond scum. The left claims to protect the environment, but in reality, all they’re doing is showing how much they hate anything that’s clean, beautiful, or created by real Americans.
When you look closely, the left’s obsession with algae starts to make sense. Algae can’t exist on its own. It latches onto surfaces built by someone else. It thrives by feeding on what’s already there, never producing anything worth celebrating. That’s exactly how the left operates. When hardworking Americans create something great—like a stunning national monument—the left rushes in to criticize, damage, or leech off it. They know nothing about actual creation; all they do is piggyback on the efforts of others.
The latest wave of leftwing protesters didn’t stop at cheering for slime. Some have been arrested for literally tearing apart the monument’s blue lining, tossing bits into the water and proudly calling it activism. These aren’t defenders of public space; they’re vandals with no respect for history, tradition, or the sweat of the American people. And let’s be honest, if these folks don’t get their way, they throw tantrums, destroy property, and pretend it’s progress.
But this is the left’s game—if conservatives, or anyone with even an ounce of common sense, creates something beautiful, they have to find a way to ruin it. The left’s entire movement survives off what others build—be it national wealth, public spaces, or American values. Without us, they’d have nothing to whine about, and certainly nothing to destroy.
Maybe the next time we clean up the slime, we should ask ourselves: why do we keep indulging those who contribute nothing but chaos and decay? At the end of the day, the only thing the left knows how to grow is resentment. And like algae, the only place they thrive is on what better people have already built.
