A far-left radical, Darializa Avila Chevalier—someone who once thought it was clever to wipe her hands on our American flag—just toppled a five-term sitting congressman in the Democratic primary. Think about that. The Democrats didn’t just pick their usual flavor of incompetence. They picked a self-proclaimed socialist who holds nothing but contempt for everything this country stands for.
This isn’t just a local story. This is exactly what happens when the woke mob gains too much power. They’ve hijacked the Democratic Party, pushing aside anyone who even slightly resembles a traditional American. Now, the party’s new rising star is someone who literally disrespected the flag. The same flag our soldiers fought and died for.
Chevalier is a 32-year-old community organizer who would rather champion socialism and division than opportunity and liberty. Of course, she checks all the “correct” boxes for the new left—young, radical, and anti-American values. She’s a proud card-carrying member of the Democratic Socialists of America, an organization that wants to tear down everything that makes America great and replace it with government handouts and endless victimhood.
What kind of message does this send? That to get ahead in today’s Democratic Party, trashing your own country is a badge of honor. We’re watching the left reward someone for disrespecting our nation, while Americans who love the country get shoved aside. Liberal elites love to talk about “inclusivity” and “progress,” but when their own candidate openly shows disdain for America, suddenly they’re celebrating it as some kind of moral virtue.
Americans are tired of watching their traditions and beliefs get spat on by radical socialists who don’t care an ounce about our nation’s heritage. Is this really the future Democrats want for the country? Or are they just too afraid to stand up to the mob they created? One thing’s for sure—the people who truly love the red, white, and blue need to speak louder than ever, or the only flag the left will ever respect is a blank one waving in surrender.
