Four Republican senators just gave Democrats exactly what they wanted—a flashy headline to wave in front of the world and Tehran itself. While President Trump stands strong against Iran’s bullying, these so-called Republicans caved to political theater. They sided with Chuck Schumer and his far-left buddies, giving Iran a golden ticket for propaganda.
This wasn’t a real law or a change to U.S. policy—it was a non-binding resolution, nothing but empty words. It’s astonishing that anyone in the GOP would play along with such a sham. When America needs unity against foreign adversaries, these four senators would rather hand over talking points to the Ayatollah than support the tough stance that keeps us safe.
Every time Democrats try to tie the President’s hands on national security, they put American lives at risk. It’s pure weakness masquerading as “oversight.” Now, our enemies across the ocean see unmistakable cracks in our leadership, and they’re loving every minute of it. Iran, which threatens our troops and allies, just got a gift-wrapped headline for their state media.
The American people didn’t elect Trump to tiptoe around dictators. He isn’t perfect, but he’s not afraid to call out threats and take decisive action. Instead of standing up to him, Democrats (and their GOP enablers) would rather kneecap our own Commander in Chief. It’s an embarrassing spectacle.
Where is the backbone on Capitol Hill? When supposed “conservative” senators join the left’s endless blame game, they do the work of America’s enemies. Is virtue-signaling to the liberal media now more important than standing with the President against Tehran’s regime? Maybe those four senators would like to write Iran’s press releases, too.
