It’s a clear message: some Republicans would rather virtue signal and chase media approval than have the guts to put America first.
The Senate approved a measure that tells President Trump to sit on his hands unless Congress gives him permission to act against Iran. Seriously? Since when do we ask our enemies to wait for Robert’s Rules of Order before protecting our troops and allies? Liberals love anything that makes America look weak, and now these four GOP turncoats are giving globalists exactly what they want: confusion, division, and a roadmap for more chaos in the Middle East.
Let’s call this what it is—an empty, symbolic slap at Trump as he continues to do what no other president has had the courage to do: stand up to Iran, end endless wars, and keep America safe. The left cries about “restraint,” but they’re really frightened because Trump’s policies are actually working. American soldiers have returned home, terrorist leaders have been eliminated, and our adversaries finally know there’s a real leader in the White House. Maybe that’s why the establishment is so desperate to rein him in.
Of course, Democrats are giddy. They’ll march out their tired talking points about “checks and balances,” but where were they when Obama sent pallets of cash to Iran behind closed doors? Hypocrisy has always been the left’s favorite game, and now a handful of Republican imposters want to play along. These Senators aren’t defending the Constitution—they’re defending the D.C. Swamp and their own seats at the cocktail party.
When Republican Senators join Democrats to try to undermine our President’s authority, it’s not just Trump they betray—it’s every American who believes in strength, security, and sovereignty. Maybe instead of stabbing their own party in the back, these Senators should look in the mirror and ask themselves who they really work for. America-first patriots are watching, and we won’t forget this cowardice. If the GOP doesn’t stand united now, when will it ever?
