Iran Just Won 300 Billion for Losing a War and American Taxpayers Are Footing the Bill

Iran just got handed $300 billion for coming in second place in a war. You read that right—cash prizes are now apparently handed out to the world’s biggest troublemakers who can’t even manage to win. What’s next—a participation trophy for launching missiles at your neighbors?

This is what happens when weak, clueless leaders run the show. The same liberals who let the border turn into a disaster are now basically sending congratulatory checks to the Ayatollah. If this is diplomacy, sign America up for a refund. Washington used to reward strength and defend allies. Now, they break out the giant checkbooks for regimes that chant “Death to America” every chance they get.

It’s insane to imagine a world where Iran, one of the globe’s most aggressive sponsors of terror, walks away richer—thanks to bureaucrats who think making nice is safer than standing tall. Here’s a newsflash: bribing your enemies only teaches them one thing—bad behavior pays. Literally. Does anyone honestly believe Iran will spend that cash on arts and crafts or helping their own people? No chance. The world will get even more rockets, chaos, and threats.

But the political class doesn’t care. Deep down, the elites want praise in their favorite cocktail circles for “making peace,” even if it means selling out American interests and common sense. They’ll pat themselves on the back while Middle East dictators laugh all the way to the bank.

If rewarding losers was really the goal, maybe someone should mail California a prize for worst-run state, too. The American taxpayer deserves better than this “pay-to-lose” foreign policy. Is it any wonder our enemies feel bolder every single day? Maybe the next time they want to hand out cash, they should try something revolutionary—put America first for a change.
