The Louisiana Energy Protection Act makes it clear: activists can’t drag oil and gas producers through endless lawsuits and expect them to foot the bill for every hurricane, heat wave, or rainstorm that rolls in. Louisiana sees through the charade. While leftists cater to globalists and whine about “climate justice,” real leaders like Landry stand up for American jobs, American energy, and American families.
The left’s real goal isn’t about the planet—it’s about power. They want to bankrupt anyone who doesn’t bow to the climate change narrative. They want to control what you drive, what you eat, and even what temperature you keep your house. But families in Louisiana know that oil and gas companies aren’t the villains. They’re the backbone of the local economy. These companies put food on the table; they fund schools; they make sure ambulances get to people in need. Suing them for “the weather” is beyond ridiculous—it’s dangerous.
Meanwhile, the same liberals who attack oil and gas are first in line to fill up their cars and hop on a plane to their latest climate conference. The hypocrisy is staggering. Maybe instead of crusading against our own neighbors, these activists should aim their outrage at Communist China or other actual polluters who laugh while America ties itself in knots.
