President Trump knows exactly where America’s priorities should be—and it’s not on bloated housing bills pushed by far-left Democrats. This week, Trump shocked the political class by cancelling a Capitol Hill event to sign a so-called “bipartisan” housing bill. Why? Because he’s demanding that Congress get serious about the real issue tearing at the soul of this nation: election integrity.
The SAVE America Act is the defining line between those who actually care about America and those who just want to keep the border open for illegal votes. This bill is about something so simple, it’s almost crazy that it doesn’t already exist—requiring proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote in federal elections. Only in the twisted minds of Democrats (and a handful of spineless Republicans) is this even a question. Of course, the people who screech about “saving democracy” are the same ones working overtime to make sure anyone, legal or not, can cast a ballot. What are they so afraid of—fair elections, maybe?
When President Trump calls this a national emergency, he’s right. The SAVE America Act has sailed through the House, but the Senate is where bills go to die, thanks to obstructionist Democrats and weak “Republicans” who care more about press coverage than the future of America. Nancy Pelosi and Elizabeth Warren parade around with their pet housing bills—meanwhile, American families are forced to compete with illegal immigrants for jobs, benefits, and now the very right to vote.
Let’s cut through the nonsense. The latest housing “reform” bill may sound nice, but it’s nothing but another excuse for bureaucrats and globalists to meddle in the free market. The real American Dream is impossible if we lose control of our elections. There’s no path to affordable housing, better jobs, or economic security if citizens let non-citizens determine our leaders. Anyone in Congress who doesn’t back the SAVE America Act is telling voters they’d rather pander to left-wing activists than do their basic duty.
For any Republican senator dawdling on the fence, here’s a dose of reality: Democrats would bulldoze the rules in a heartbeat to seize power. Why shouldn’t Republicans show the same backbone? America won’t survive if we keep playing nice while the other side fights dirty. Trump is sending a clear message to the GOP—stand tall, pass the SAVE America Act, and stop letting the left walk all over you. Or are some in Congress just too scared of being called “mean” on cable news to defend the most basic part of being a country?
If the Senate lets this chance slip by, Americans have every right to be furious. If you can’t even require proof of citizenship to vote, are you even serious about America? The radical left certainly isn’t. And it’s about time common sense, not woke lunacy, won in Washington, D.C.
