Once again, President Trump proves he’s the only one in Washington with a backbone. This week, the political elites thought they could pull a fast one—cramming through another big spending bill under the friendly name of “housing affordability.” Congress shoved this so-called ROAD to Housing Act down our throats, pretending it was all about helping everyday Americans. But President Trump didn’t fall for it. He stopped these globalist Democrats and their weak-kneed Republican buddies right in their tracks.
Here’s the truth: this bill was nothing but a shiny distraction to keep the borders open and our elections vulnerable. Trump made it clear he would not touch their prized housing bill unless they actually did their job: protect the vote. He’s demanding the Senate finally pass the SAVE America Act, which would require proof of citizenship and valid ID to cast a ballot. Liberals in Washington can cry all they want about “access,” but everyone knows their real aim—flood the system with illegal votes to keep themselves in power.
You have to admire Trump’s boldness. He marched right into the same Senate that loves to trash talk him behind closed doors. He didn’t sugarcoat anything—he even admitted there are a few faces in the GOP he’s not a fan of. But unlike the left, Trump doesn’t grovel for unity or beg for likes on social media. He sets priorities and stands his ground.
Meanwhile, the Democrats tripped over themselves, whining about “democracy” and “affordable housing.” They completely ignored a simple fact: if you don’t protect American elections, then it doesn’t matter how many bills you pass. You lose the country. But to these progressives, citizenship is just a punchline. Voting is for everyone, they say—even if you crossed the border yesterday, don’t pay taxes, and couldn’t care less about this country’s future. That’s how desperate they are for power—they’ll destroy the system just to cling to it.
Let’s be honest. Real Americans know exactly what’s going on. We see the games, the phony virtue signaling, the open contempt from the elites. Trump isn’t playing that game. He’s calling their bluff and putting America first. The question isn’t whether housing is affordable or not—it’s whether America is still America. Maybe Congress should get off their high horse and start protecting our votes before asking us to swallow another “affordability” scam.
