UC Davis busted for secret diversity scheme that puts woke politics over patient safety

It’s happening again. Another elite institution, another “race-neutral” scheme that’s anything but neutral. This time, the UC Davis School of Medicine is the one playing games. Liberals swear they want fairness, but all they do is repackage old tricks in shiny new wrappers, hoping no one notices. Yet underneath the surface, their double standards and obsession with race are plain as day.

UC Davis thought they had it all figured out. Instead of admitting they were giving certain students a leg up because of their background, they just changed the name of the game. They designed a so-called “race-neutral” score system to sneak in the same old quotas, hiding behind polite buzzwords and bureaucratic language. But no matter what you call it, the outcome is the same: students get ranked for reasons that have nothing to do with hard work or true merit.

Who loses out from this leftist rot? Pretty much everyone. Students who busted their tails are pushed aside for the sake of a scoreboard designed to please radical activists and globalist interests. The medical profession gets flooded with doctors who might not be ready for the demands of the job—only picked because they checked the right boxes. And let’s not forget the patients. When their health is on the line, they need the best doctor—not one who was shuffled in because of some diversity shortcut.

It’s no wonder the Department of Justice is getting involved. When one school can hand them such a crystal-clear example of institutional favoritism, it makes you wonder how much of this is going on in other places too. The left calls it progress, but Americans know the truth—this is discrimination wearing a mask.

Liberals promise colorblind systems, but they can’t let go of their obsession with dividing people by race. Why are our leaders so eager to sacrifice excellence and fairness for the illusion of “equity”? How much longer will conservatives stand by while hard-working Americans are sidelined—just so woke elites can pat themselves on the back? Maybe it’s time to ask—when will merit finally matter more than politics?
