California is turning into a nightmare, and the latest reason is another round of PG&E rate hikes. Over 16 million Californians are stuck paying sky-high electric bills, just to keep the lights on. Why? Because liberal politicians in Sacramento are more interested in green virtue-signaling than helping hard-working families.
The Democrats love to talk about saving the planet. But they never talk about what their so-called “green revolution” actually costs. Ordinary people can barely afford groceries these days, but liberals want them to pay even more—just so they can feel good about themselves at Hollywood cocktail parties. It’s the same failed playbook, every single time: push for extreme climate rules, force power companies to spend billions on new regulations, and then shrug their shoulders when bills soar.
While Gavin Newsom and his allies put on their climate hero masks for TV, real people in Northern and Central California are left carrying the burden. Each new “green” requirement slapped on PG&E means another reason to jack up rates—and another excuse when the grid fails again during a heatwave or wildfire. Liberals brag about leading the world, but what they’ve really done is lead their own citizens off a cliff.
Frankly, nothing says “privilege” like a millionaire activist in San Francisco telling a working dad in Fresno to just suck it up and pay more for power. It’s easy to push eco-madness when you don’t have to worry about your own electric bill. But regular folks are tired of footing the bill for these elite experiments that never seem to work and only get more expensive.
How much longer will Californians let these globalist schemes drain their wallets? Every “green” law, every new fee, every flashy press conference comes with a price—paid by honest families just trying to get by. Maybe it’s time to call out this madness for what it is: a scam, pure and simple. When will enough finally be enough?
