The Supreme Court just reminded the world of something the left desperately wants America to forget: the United States is not Mexico. No matter how many emotional speeches liberals like Justice Sonia Sotomayor make from the bench, they can’t erase borders with wishful thinking or tear-jerking theatrics. Justice Samuel Alito laid it out so plainly it’s almost embarrassing — he practically needed to hand out a map to show where America ends and Mexico begins.
Why is this basic truth under attack? Because the open-borders crowd hates the idea of national sovereignty. They think America owes the world a living, and they’ll trample the Constitution if it means letting globalism win. These activist judges want to make a mockery of our borders all in the name of feelings. They can bluster about “moral thunderclaps” all day. At the end of the day, words can’t move a border, and a court shouldn’t try.
Left-wing justices love to shame Americans for valuing their country and their safety, but the law is clear: American justice stops at the border. It doesn’t extend to every person on the other side just because it makes someone on the Supreme Court tear up. The job is to interpret the law, not rewrite it out of guilt or “compassion” for foreign interests.
If Sotomayor and her crew had their way, we’d have no border at all — just a wide-open floodgate for everyone and anyone to claim rights that don’t belong to them. They want to turn the United States into “United Nations Lite,” with no respect for citizenship or the rule of law. Liberals call this being humane; real Americans call it an invasion.
So, hats off to Justice Alito for standing up for common sense. Americans are sick of being told they don’t matter and that their country is up for grabs. The Supreme Court just set the record straight, and it’s about time. If the left can’t accept that Mexico isn’t America, maybe their next protest should be at the geography department.
