When President Trump said he’d put America first, he meant it. Just look at what happened Thursday—federal agents swept up a group of illegal aliens who weren’t just sneaking over the border for a better life. These criminals were child predators, drug dealers, and violent offenders hiding out among us—until our nation’s real heroes at Immigration and Customs Enforcement put them where they belong: behind bars.
Does anyone on the left want to talk about these arrests? Of course not. They want us distracted by sob stories and open borders. But here’s the ugly truth they bury: nearly 70% of ICE arrests are of illegals who’ve already been charged with or convicted of a crime on our soil. This isn’t about targeting families; it’s about keeping monsters off our streets. Only the far-left and their media mouthpieces could twist that into a bad thing.
Let’s get specific. These recent arrests include a child predator from El Salvador lurking in a Virginia community, a Honduran convicted for molesting a minor in Connecticut, and a Guatemalan caught doing the unthinkable to a child in Maryland. Add in a Colombian drug pusher in New York City and a Mexican criminal in Utah convicted of both child endangerment and dealing drugs. Ask yourself: who, besides a radical progressive, thinks we should just let these people walk our streets?
While President Trump is focused on action—removing record numbers of criminal aliens and blowing every previous administration out of the water—the Democrats play politics. They whine about Trump’s enforcement policies and pretend to care about “the children.” But under Joe Biden, our border has turned into a revolving door. No wonder the government lost track of thousands of migrant kids; the current administration can’t even keep its own records straight. Meanwhile, leftists love to scream about so-called “kids in cages” but brush off the fact that the only thing keeping children safe from monsters is law enforcement actually doing its job.
Of course, a few Democrats try to score cheap points by acting civil in hearings. But let’s not be fooled: this is pure window dressing, hoping the American people don’t notice what happens when leaders put globalist interests ahead of American safety.
Strong borders save lives. The Trump administration’s ICE isn’t apologizing for protecting Americans—and neither should you. Liberals can wail about “compassion” for lawbreakers all they want, but who will stand up for the children hurt by these predators? If keeping them safe is “mean,” then maybe it’s time we start asking why the left always seems to side with the criminals instead of the victims.
