Once again, America is paying the price for open borders and weak leadership. An illegal alien just got slapped with an eight-year prison sentence after masterminding a jaw-dropping $89 million payroll scheme. It’s outrageous. He didn’t just break into this country, he built an illegal empire employing more illegal aliens and managed to cheat American taxpayers out of millions in the process.
This is not a one-off story. This is what we get when Democrat politicians look the other way and champion so-called “sanctuary” cities. Their soft-on-crime, open-borders agenda sends a message loud and clear: come on in, break the law, and maybe you’ll even get rewarded for it. Meanwhile, hard-working American families are left footing the bill while the system gets gamed by criminals who have no business being here in the first place.
Let’s talk about the construction industry. Instead of hiring American workers and paying their fair share in taxes, these illegal schemes funnel cash to under-the-table operations. It’s a slap in the face to every citizen and legal immigrant who follows the rules and pays what they owe. Honest folks are being undercut while cheats rake in millions, all thanks to a government that refuses to crack down on illegal labor.
The mainstream media won’t tell you these stories. Liberal elites and globalists pretend it’s all harmless “undocumented labor,” as if stealing jobs and evading taxes is no big deal. Where’s their outrage when fraud like this happens? Nowhere to be found. They’re too busy protecting their pet causes to care about the real victims: the American taxpayer and our collapsing rule of law.
This country cannot survive if we let criminals turn our laws into punchlines. Eight years behind bars is only a start, but the real question is this: how many more illegal scams are being cooked up right now, all while our leaders refuse to secure the border? How long are we supposed to tolerate this madness?
