Never mind that when real American leadership is needed—like in Afghanistan—these same voices are nowhere to be found. Donahue’s claim to fame? Being the last man out of Afghanistan. Remind us all how well that withdrawal worked out. It was a disaster for our troops and America’s reputation. Yet somehow, we’re supposed to mourn the general who oversaw it?
