The left has spent years throwing our border wide open, letting chaos flood in with barely a second thought about how it hurts everyday Americans. Well, the Supreme Court has finally done what the Biden administration should have from day one: put the law above the feelings of open-borders radicals. The Department of Homeland Security, for once, got something right. Their lawyers are celebrating these new Supreme Court rulings—and every patriotic American should be too. Why? Because these decisions finally make it easier to enforce the federal immigration laws we already have, laws the progressive elite pretend don’t matter.

Of course, the liberal media will howl about “human rights” and “families being separated.” They never mention the American families torn apart by violence, drugs, or jobs lost to illegal competition. This is the predictable hypocrisy—cry crocodile tears for lawbreakers while turning their backs on hardworking citizens.

It shouldn’t take a Supreme Court decision for government bureaucrats to realize they work for the American people, not the United Nations or some activist mob. Maybe now, with these new rulings, federal officials will actually do their jobs for a change.
