Malibu Burns Again and the Left Walks Away as Justice Fails America

The so-called justice system has failed again. Here we have a major disaster—one that torched 7,000 homes, left twelve innocent Americans dead, and tore through Malibu—and still, the taxpayer can’t get a shred of accountability. The federal trial for the Uber driver accused of lighting the match that set off this Pacific Palisades nightmare? Declared a mistrial. That’s right, the courtroom circus ends with no answers, no justice, and no consequences for a fire that devastated entire communities.

It’s the same old story: liberal incompetence on full display. The left loves to talk about “community,” but when it comes time to actually protect people’s lives and property, suddenly it’s all excuses. This is what happens when laws are watered down and prosecutors are more worried about virtue signaling than protecting citizens. The victims have to rebuild their homes and lives from ashes while the accused gets another shot at freedom.

If the roles were reversed, if the accused were some blue-collar American who dared leave his gas grill on during a summer barbecue, you better believe there’d be a witch hunt. But when it’s someone tied to woke causes or an outsider working for gig companies the left champions, everybody bends over backward. Where’s the outrage from the so-called progressives? They claim to care about the environment—until their own policies and double standards set California on fire.

Meanwhile, the globalist elite keep pushing their fantasy about “renewable” everything, ignoring how their own bureaucratic mess leaves forests unmanaged and ripe for disaster. Fires like these are so much worse than they should be because radical environmentalists block clearing brush and thinning trees. When tragedy strikes, the left points fingers everywhere but the mirror.

America deserves better than limp-wristed justice and green lies. How many more neighborhoods need to go up in smoke before liberals admit their failures are costing lives? Or do they only care when it’s their own Malibu mansions on the line?
