The rot in our country’s justice system just got even uglier. Two former Utah county clerks have finally been arrested for giving illegal aliens a free pass. That’s right — government workers went out of their way to help criminals escape the rule of law. The so-called “public servants” have completely betrayed the citizens they were supposed to serve.
This is what happens when leftist ideology infects our institutions: the rules get tossed out to benefit lawbreakers, while average Americans suffer the consequences. Instead of standing up for Border Patrol and law enforcement, liberal bureaucrats are siding with criminals who shouldn’t even be here. Who cares about national security when there are globalist brownie points to score?
Let’s get one thing straight: aiding illegal aliens is a federal crime, plain and simple. But it seems like some people in government think they’re above the law. If these clerks had pulled a stunt like this in a conservative state with actual backbone, they wouldn’t have gotten away with it for a second. However, in woke-run counties, they must think the rules don’t apply anymore.
America’s sovereignty means nothing if the people running our towns are busy chasing open-border fantasyland. How many times do we have to see the left defend criminals and stab citizens in the back? Instead of protecting families and communities, liberal activists with government paychecks are cheering for chaos.
If government employees won’t do their jobs, why should the rest of us trust them with anything? This is the real legacy of open-borders nonsense and progressive pandering. Where does it end? Maybe next, they’ll just hand out house keys to anyone who strolls across the border. Sorry, but Americans come first — and it’s time someone reminded our leaders of that.
