Once again, the far-left is eating its own, and this time, it played out on the streets of San Francisco. Scott Wiener, the California State Senator who made his political career pushing some of the most extreme progressive policies in the state, was chased out of the city’s Trans March by a furious mob. The so-called “tolerant” crowd clad themselves in black masks, shrieked vulgarities in his face, and drove him off for not being radical enough. If even Scott Wiener isn’t woke enough for the left, who is?
Remember, this is the same Scott Wiener who has spent years pushing California further into the abyss of radical social engineering. He’s famous for making it easier for criminals to avoid sex offender registration, softening the blow for those who knowingly spread HIV, and doing everything he can to slap ICE and law enforcement in the face. But the mob came for him anyway because he dared to be slightly out of step with the latest left-wing cause, namely their rage over the war in Gaza. Suddenly, the man who removed consequences for heinous acts wasn’t pure enough for the mob he spent his career feeding.
It’s the worst kind of hypocrisy. Democrats like Wiener built their reputations by caving to the most fringe activists and undermining the rule of law. Now, he’s being targeted by his own side, and all those years of radicalism don’t mean a thing to the “Trantifa” militants who have taken over the streets. No matter how much these politicians bend the knee, the revolution always devours its own. When lawlessness is the rule, nobody is ever woke enough, and even the most “progressive” politicians get run out of town.
Let’s not forget, this guy is the handpicked successor to Nancy Pelosi—a man so far left that he made national headlines with his reckless bills. Yet, in today’s Democrat-run California, you’re either a full-blown anarchist or you’re suddenly the enemy of the people. The activist mob doesn’t want “representation” or “progress.” They want chaos, they want control, and they won’t hesitate to destroy anyone who doesn’t pass their ever-shifting purity test.
This is what happens when you hand over your city and state to activist lunatics. The insanity just keeps ramping up, the streets aren’t safe for anyone— not even the radical progressives who helped create the mess. Liberals promised utopia, but all they delivered was mob rule. How bad does it have to get before San Francisco and the rest of blue America wake up and realize their “progress” is eating them alive?
