Once again, America is learning the hard way what happens when naïve deals are made with untrustworthy regimes. Less than a month ago, the Biden administration cheered its so-called “peace” agreement with Iran—a rogue nation that chants “Death to America” and funds terror across the Middle East. Surprise, surprise: It took Iran barely two weeks to shatter that farce, launching a swarm of drones against targets in the Strait of Hormuz. Anyone with common sense could see this “peace” wouldn’t last, but apparently, the woke diplomats in Washington were too busy patting themselves on the back.
This latest round of violence proves what conservatives have been saying all along: Paper deals don’t stop missiles. Biden’s team rushed to ink an agreement for a quick photo-op, but Iran only understands strength. When the Revolutionary Guards took aim at global shipping lanes—one of the most critical arteries for international trade—America had to respond. Ten Iranian military targets were smashed in a swift show of force. If only this kind of decisive action came before the radicals in Tehran were emboldened by weak American leadership.
Iran didn’t waste a minute striking back. The regime fired off another barrage, with drones and missiles hurled at U.S. forces in Bahrain and Kuwait. Bases that were under threat just months ago are now once again in the crosshairs. This isn’t “de-escalation,” it’s chaos—and the world watches as American service members are put at risk because our leaders refuse to face reality. How much longer do we let our enemies dictate the terms while liberals wring their hands and worry about “optics”?
It’s the same old game: The left expects hostile actors to behave as responsible partners, showers them with respect, and pretends radical Islamism can be tamed with agreements. Meanwhile, the real world is burning thanks to their failed “diplomacy.” Instead of putting America first, this administration keeps reaching for deals with tyrants who only see weakness. We’re seeing the price now, paid by our military and our allies on the ground.
Americans know better. Peace doesn’t come from signing treaties with evil—it comes from strength, deterrence, and a willingness to stand up to those who threaten us. Why is that so hard for Biden and his globalist cronies to understand? Maybe one day the left will wake up. Until then, American lives are on the line while liberals learn the lesson the hard way…again.
