LA burns for a week but liberal leaders blame racism and dodge responsibility again

Los Angeles went through a nightmare with that raging fire in Boyle Heights. A cold storage warehouse turned into an inferno that burned for more than a week. Smoke choked the city, neighborhoods were on edge, and firefighters from all over—yes, even outside California—had to rush in to save the day. The Los Angeles Fire Department was stretched thin. This was a dangerous mess right in the heart of a working-class community. But don’t expect the mayor to actually do her job and fix the real problems.

Instead of demanding accountability for why a warehouse fire got so out of hand, Karen Bass blamed—you guessed it—“environmental racism.” In the progressive world, that’s the magic phrase that means no one in City Hall ever takes responsibility. Liberals have gotten so used to pointing fingers at imaginary villains that they can’t bring themselves to notice real failures in leadership. Simple fire safety? No, let’s rant about “systemic injustice” instead.

The left loves to play the race card, especially when it distracts from their own incompetence. Apparently, enforcing safety codes and stopping these disasters isn’t a priority if you can just blame racism. Who needs common sense when you’ve got identity politics? City leaders love to act like victims while ignoring the people who actually suffer from their carelessness—ordinary families forced to breathe in toxic smoke while their homes are put at risk.

And let’s talk about resources. A city as big as LA couldn’t handle this fire on their own? That’s embarrassing. Liberals like Bass have drained the city’s strength with stupid policies, red tape, and endless virtue signaling, but when a crisis hits, they call for help from out-of-state. It’s just like the open border disaster: those in charge love to invite chaos then let taxpayers, cops, and firefighters clean it up.

When are these so-called “leaders” going to stop whining and start governing? How many disasters will it take for someone to call out the real danger—the progressive circus running LA into the ground? Maybe it’s time for Americans to ask why the left blames everyone but themselves, even when the smoke is literally right outside their window.
