For decades, liberals have treated America’s border like a revolving door. They cry for open borders, wave their flags for every so-called “refugee,” and tell hardworking Americans there’s nothing to worry about. But when the Supreme Court finally stands up and sets things right, you can practically hear the screeching from Hollywood to Washington, D.C. Now, in a move that should’ve happened years ago, the Department of Homeland Security is finally pushing for self-deportation among certain Haitian and Syrian nationals—thanks to a real Supreme Court ruling that puts the brakes on the endless Temporary Protected Status scam.
Let’s be honest, Temporary Protected Status was a sweetheart deal for globalists, activist judges, and leftist elites. They used it as a backdoor amnesty, giving hundreds of thousands of people special protection long after the supposed “crisis” was over. It never mattered to them that Americans—real citizens—paid the price with lost jobs, crowded schools, and strained hospitals. Elite politicians don’t care; they live behind gates and never face the consequences.
This SCOTUS decision is a breath of fresh air. The high court basically said the president has the power to put America first and revoke status when the time comes. Now, DHS is actually doing its job—unveiling a real plan that tells those whose welcome has expired it’s time to return home. The left is predictably outraged, but it’s hard to sympathize after years of chaos and lawlessness on the border. Who do liberals really care about—struggling American citizens or global interest groups and foreign nationals?
It’s infuriating how the same crowd that blames working-class Americans for everything also fights tooth and nail to protect illegal immigrants. They cry “humanitarian!” but ignore the truth: unchecked migration rewards lawbreakers and punishes the people who actually work and pay taxes. Democrats cling to power with cheap voter grifts while American communities bear the brunt of their reckless compassion. If you doubt it, look at the mess in sanctuary cities from New York to Los Angeles.
Finally, there’s a little backbone in our immigration system. The new push for self-deportation isn’t perfect, but it moves in the right direction. Americans want a country that stands up for the rule of law—not one that kowtows to every activist with a sad story. Maybe the left should stop worrying about foreign nationals and start asking: When are citizens going to come first for a change?
