Top Republican Sides With Open Borders Crowd on Haitian Deportations

It’s official: even some Republicans are falling right in line with the open-borders crowd. Over the weekend, Governor Mike DeWine of Ohio grabbed the spotlight not for standing up for America, but for throwing in with folks who think deporting illegal Haitians somehow “isn’t in America’s interest.” You can almost hear the left cheering and the globalists clapping along. What happened to putting the safety and jobs of American citizens first?

Let’s get one thing straight—border security is not about feelings. It’s about law, order, and protecting what’s left of the American dream. For years, “progressives” have shouted that deporting illegal aliens is cruel. Now, some so-called conservatives are buying into that emotional nonsense, acting like sending Haitian nationals home is bad business for America. Since when did we start taking our cues from the woke mob and not from common sense?

The facts are clear: our border is already overrun and our resources stretched thin. We have cities breaking under the weight of uncontrolled migration. But apparently, protecting our sovereignty is no longer in fashion with the political elite—regardless of party. Instead, they want to shame everyday Americans for expecting their leaders to enforce the law. It’s the same tired song: ignore the suffering in our own backyard, roll out the welcome mat for everyone else, and tell people they’re heartless if they object.

Let’s not kid ourselves—this isn’t about compassion. It’s about power. The left wants endless waves of migrants for cheap votes, and the D.C. establishment loves the cheap labor. Meanwhile, Americans pay the price in lower wages, crowded schools, and unsafe streets. Any politician who can’t see that—or worse, refuses to do something about it—doesn’t deserve an ounce of our trust.

It’s time to call out this anti-American nonsense for what it is. If our leaders won’t stand up for Americans, who will? Maybe DeWine and the rest of the political class should take a long, hard look at who they’re really serving. Because it sure doesn’t look like it’s us.
