If you thought things couldn’t get any crazier in our public schools, think again. In California, a left-wing teacher—paid with your tax dollars—actually married a man from Gaza all in the name of pushing her political cause and handing out U.S. citizenship like candy. This isn’t some wild internet rumor; it’s the sad reality happening right under the noses of parents who trust schools with their kids.
Let’s make one thing clear: this isn’t about love or family. This is about weaponizing marriage to “even the playing field” and promote a pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel agenda. The teacher in question, who spends her days in front of American teenagers, had no problem openly admitting that her marriage was a political stunt. She bragged about her activism on a far-left webinar, shamelessly insisting she has “privileges” as an American that she wants to spread to others—even if it means blurring the lines between personal life, national security, and professional duty.
All this raises big red flags. The process to get citizenship through marriage still requires background checks, and from what’s been reported, her new husband’s background is more than questionable. So now we have a California teacher—who already can’t keep politics out of the classroom—tying the knot with someone who could very well fail a security check. That’s not just foolish, it’s dangerous.
This is exactly what’s wrong with the left’s grip on education. These activists see nothing wrong with using the system for their own ideological goals, whether that means indoctrinating students with anti-Israel rhetoric or outright manipulating immigration laws for their pet causes. Schools are supposed to be places of learning—not breeding grounds for political warriors. But here we are, watching educators like this openly celebrate radical activism while getting paid to “teach.”
Parents, take note. If you think your child’s classroom is free from this kind of insanity, think again. The left’s crusade to turn schools into factories of progressive politics is out in the open. School districts need a backbone. There has to be accountability for teachers who use their job to push personal agendas—otherwise, what’s next? Maybe the left will start handing out passports during math class. Is this what education in America has come to?
