Here we go again—liberals and their endless schemes to control our fuel and ruin the American economy. The Environmental Protection Agency keeps hiking up the amount of ethanol forced into our gas tanks, pretending it’s all about lowering prices at the pump. Anyone who’s paid attention knows this is just another bogus climate crusade that helps global elites but leaves working Americans worse off. Thankfully, serious conservatives in the House are getting sick and tired of this nonsense.
The so-called biofuel mandate has been a disaster from day one. For years, Washington bureaucrats have bullied everyone into buying gasoline laced with corn-based ethanol, all to please radical environmentalists and the globalist green lobby. What did it get us? Higher food prices, wrecked engines, and a mountain of paperwork for small businesses. Still, liberals keep shoving these silly rules down our throats in their wild chase for “clean energy.” Maybe they forgot—their policies don’t actually lower gas prices, and they sure don’t help American workers.
Now, finally, some backbone is showing up in Congress. A new push is building in the House to throw out the EPA’s latest ethanol price hikes and end the costly mandate once and for all. It’s about time. Too long, Americans have suffered at the hands of unelected bureaucrats who care more about pleasing the climate czars in Brussels than helping the folks in Kansas, Iowa, and Nebraska. These representatives are standing up for real Americans, not ivory tower activists.
Let’s be honest—this is just another example of liberal incompetence. The same crowd that botched Afghanistan and unleashed runaway inflation now claims it knows better than the people filling up their tanks. They don’t care about our farmers—only about chasing fake “green” headlines. Instead of letting the free market work, they’d rather tie us in red tape and take marching orders from globalist special interests.
Americans deserve better than being lab rats for climate hysteria. It’s time to scrap the EPA’s un-American mandates and give power back to the people. If House Republicans succeed, maybe we’ll finally see the day when government stops controlling our fuel—and our lives. Or should we just keep letting DC bureaucrats hold the keys to our freedom?
