Democrats just got a taste of reality in Colorado—and they’re not happy about it. Their backroom plot to rig the congressional map, sneakily packaged as “ballot measures,” just hit a brick wall at the state’s supreme court. Sorry, left-wing schemers: the court isn’t going to be your puppet for this power grab.
Let’s call this what it is: Democrats tried another end-run around the will of the people. When they can’t win at the ballot box, they want to rewrite the rules of the game. It’s the same tired playbook—if you don’t like the score, move the goalposts. The proposals shot down by the court would have opened the door for liberals to tip the scales in their favor, just in time for the next round of elections.
The American people see through these games. Redistricting should be about fair representation, not about creating more safe blue seats for career politicians who care more about their donors than they do about families in Colorado. Democrats talk about “democracy,” but when push comes to shove, their true belief is: rule by activists, for activists.
It’s no surprise that globalists and liberal elites keep trying to manipulate the system. They want to silence conservative voices under a mountain of bureaucratic red tape and activist judges. But this time, real Americans caught them in the act, and the courts did their job.
How many more times will Democrats try to steal what they can’t earn? Americans deserve free and fair elections—not backdoor tricks from sore losers. Maybe the left should try winning on ideas instead of playing games with our democracy.
