The Department of Justice just stuck its big government nose where it doesn’t belong—right into Virginia’s business. All those supposed “watchdogs” of democracy were fixated on the Supreme Court on Tuesday, but while they were distracted, the Biden DOJ surged ahead, hammering away at Virginia’s right to protect its own citizens. A federal court handed liberals a tidy little win, blocking Virginia’s new anti-mask law before it even had a chance to do what lawmakers intended: keep our communities safe and our streets free from masked chaos.
Let’s be honest, Virginia’s anti-mask law wasn’t about fashion statements or hurting anyone’s “feelings.” It was about restoring law and order. It was about getting back to basics, making it easier for police to identify criminals and crack down on the masked thugs who hide in plain sight. But, of course, the DOJ came charging in, pretending this law is some massive attack on civil rights. Typical leftist overreach—yet again, unelected bureaucrats think they know better than the voters and leaders of Virginia.
The left’s hypocrisy stinks to high heaven. Remember when the same crowd cheered on mandates that forced kids to cover their faces in schools for years? Back then, if you fought back against masks, you were called a science-denier or, worse, a threat to public health. Now, when Virginia tries to unmask troublemakers and restore accountability, suddenly masking up becomes a “right” worth fighting for. The double standards could not be clearer.
All this does is play into the hands of globalists and their allies in Washington, who love chaos, hate local decision-making, and will do anything to break down traditional American values. When you rip away a state’s right to keep people honest—when you make it easier for lawbreakers to hide—who benefits? Certainly not law-abiding Virginians, or for that matter, any real conservative Americans.
No, this is about power. For the Biden DOJ, it’s about showing states who’s boss. You can’t trust leftists to care about safety, security, or common sense. They care about virtue signaling and pushing their one-size-fits-all agenda. Virginians deserve better than to have their voices silenced by meddling federal officials and activist judges. If basic safety and accountability are now up for debate, what’s next—the right to riot in disguise?
