The establishment elites are sharpening their knives, and this time, Marco Rubio’s name is right at the center of the mess. As America faces some of its biggest challenges—like the dangerous talks with Iran—the so-called “experts” in D.C. are setting up Vance to take the fall if things go sideways. Neat trick, isn’t it? Let Vance do the hard work, and if anything blows up, they’ll be ready to point fingers.
Rubio, usually the first guy to run to the cameras, is suddenly playing it safe. He’s hiding in the shadows while Vance does the heavy lifting for America. Why? It doesn’t take a genius to see what’s going on. Rubio and the other old guard are more worried about protecting their own political futures than backing up their team. They talk about “country first,” but when things get tough, they’d rather cover their own backsides and watch a fellow conservative get thrown under the bus.
Let’s not pretend the Democrats are any different. Liberal hacks and their globalist buddies couldn’t care less about what’s best for the United States. Think they want Vance, one of the few straight shooters in Washington, to look good heading into 2028? Not a chance. If talks with Iran blow up, the left will race to blame Vance and call the administration a disaster—while letting their own incompetent negotiators off the hook, just like they did for years under Obama and Biden.
And of course, the D.C. insiders are counting on Americans to look the other way. They assume nobody will notice when political cowards like Rubio step aside and let actual conservatives take all the risks. The media isn’t going to call out Rubio and his buddies—they’re too busy running interference for the Democrats.
The truth is obvious: the old Republican establishment sees the writing on the wall. JD Vance and his America First values threaten their power, their cocktail parties, and everything they’ve built for themselves in the swamp. If they have to set him up to fail just to hold onto their precious careers, they’ll do it in a heartbeat. The only question is, will conservatives let them get away with it—this time?
