The Left’s assault on American history just keeps getting more insane. Now, Sherrod Brown, the Democrat hoping to crawl back into the U.S. Senate, thinks the Jefferson Memorial in DC should basically be hijacked or maybe even torn down. He can’t even say for sure if it should stay. Apparently honoring the man who wrote “all men are created equal” and helped launch freedom around the globe is too much for Democrats to handle. Their solution? Erect some giant statue of Harriet Tubman in the middle of the Jefferson Memorial, just to make sure no one forgets their divisive political agenda for even one second.
This is why people are sick of the radical Left. They hate the idea that America is a shining example of progress, hope, and freedom for all. It’s never enough for them. They can’t see past old grievances and keep peddling the lie that America’s founding was somehow only evil. This isn’t about honoring new heroes or teaching honest history. It’s about erasing the bedrock of our country and making sure Americans are ashamed of their own past. They keep pretending like no progress has been made, just so they can stay in power by keeping people divided, angry, and stuck in victimhood.
Let’s be real: If these Democrat culture warriors had their way, they’d bulldoze every statue from DC to Mount Vernon. It’s never just about renaming a building or adding a plaque. It’s about control, plain and simple. They’re desperate to rewrite history to fit their worldview. They ignore America’s incredible journey—from the sacrifices of the Civil War to the end of slavery, and the fight for equal rights—just so they can push more guilt and resentment.
Meanwhile, real Americans know what the country stands for, and they’re not buying the Left’s guilt-trip circus. Anyone who’s been to a patriotic gathering lately can see that America is more united than the woke elites ever will be. Black, White, Hispanic, Asian—people come together and celebrate this nation, while liberals just want to fuel another angry mob, chanting about tearing things down. Who’s really dividing the country?
Sherrod Brown and his pals may think tearing down monuments is “teaching history,” but all they’re teaching is bitterness and blame. The rest of us know that tearing down the past doesn’t build a better future—it just feeds the Left’s endless appetite for outrage. If Democrats are so ashamed of America, why are they running for office here at all?
