Every year, millions of Americans look forward to celebrating the Fourth of July with cookouts, fireworks, and a healthy dose of patriotic pride. But leave it to California, the socialist utopia of the West, to turn our nation’s birthday into a woke circus. This year, San Diego County is putting on what might be the most anti-American Independence Day spectacle in the country.
First up? Not a prayer or a salute to our Founding Fathers, but a so-called “tribal intimate blessing” and a somber reflection about living on “stolen land.” Are organizers really that eager to scold Americans for loving their country? Apparently, recognizing the nation’s birth isn’t woke enough unless everyone is made to feel guilty for even standing on American soil.
Forget about faith in God or honoring our troops. In this bizarre event, the invocation comes straight from tribal leaders—because why let a Christian pastor set the tone when you can virtue signal by checking every box in the progressive playbook? It’s a slap in the face to the traditions and values that made this country strong.
The only brief nod to patriotism? The national anthem. But hold on. Instead of letting that moment stand, the agenda jumps right into playing the so-called “black national anthem.” This anthem exploded onto the scene at the height of woke hysteria, conveniently dividing Americans by race, rather than uniting us under one flag. What’s next—an anthem for every special interest group in the alphabet soup?
Attendees will then be forced to sit through two hours of “stories” from identity groups—everything from “local tribal” voices to LGBTQAI+ and “black and African” communities. Each group gets nearly half an hour to preach about trauma and struggle—because, apparently, being proud of America just isn’t “inclusive” enough. Who knew Independence Day was the time for self-loathing lectures instead of celebrating freedom?
After endless hours of this leftist, globalist nonsense, there is finally a fireworks show. By then, anyone with an ounce of American pride should have already made other plans. This isn’t a celebration—it’s a woke re-education camp disguised as a holiday event. Maybe one of these days, the radical left will realize that Americans want to celebrate their country, not get shamed for loving it.
