Another day, another scammer abusing the COVID handouts paid for by hard-working Americans. This time, a woman from Arkansas cashed in big on the so-called “emergency relief” programs liberals rushed through Congress at warp speed—programs with zero accountability, wide-open loopholes, and basically no real checks on fraud. The left shouted endlessly about “helping the vulnerable,” but as usual, the only people truly getting helped were cheaters and crooks.
According to federal investigators, this woman made out like a bandit, ripping off over $330,000 from multiple states by filing bogus unemployment claims. She never lived or worked in most of these places. But that didn’t matter to the blue-state bureaucrats rubber-stamping her paperwork and hurling out taxpayer cash as fast as their fat, clammy fingers would let them. This was supposed to be a safety net for Americans who lost their jobs because of COVID policies—policies, by the way, pushed by the same Democrat mob obsessed with forcing shutdowns and lockdowns. And who foots the bill for all this? Everyday Americans, as usual.
The CARES Act—and the avalanche of “emergency” COVID spending that followed it—opened the biggest cash grab in American history. The left used the pandemic as an excuse to flood the system with trillions, and now we’re watching the aftermath unfold: fraudsters, both petty and organized, leeching off money meant for people in need. Think about it. While good citizens were struggling to buy groceries and pay rent, some were outright inventing new personas to siphon funds across states, all with the blessing of big government incompetence.
Of course, it took a massive federal manhunt to finally track her down, while thousands of other COVID criminals will likely never see the inside of a courtroom. This woman got sentenced to 18 months in prison and ordered to pay back those stolen funds—but good luck seeing that restitution actually returned. When government tries to replace personal responsibility and honest labor with endless handouts, this is what happens. Fraud runs wild, and law-abiding Americans get left holding the bag.
And let’s be honest: the Biden regime and their ilk have zero real interest in cleaning up this mess. They’re more focused on inflating their welfare state, while burying stories about fraud, waste, and abuse. When you put the federal government in charge of “generosity,” all you get are leeches, criminals, and a nation drowning in debt. Why should honest Americans keep paying for schemes that only encourage more of this garbage? Where’s the accountability for politicians and bureaucrats who let this disaster happen?
