California Governor Gavin Newsom wants everyone to believe he’s some kind of victim. Funny how the left loves investigations—unless they’re aimed at their own golden boy.
Instead of answering for his actions or bothering to come clean, Newsom plays the blame game. He whines about witch hunts, pretends he’s above it all, and paints conservatives as the bad guys. But the facts here are more damning for Newsom than he wants the public to know. These investigations didn’t just pop up overnight, and they didn’t come from some imagined right-wing plot. California whistleblowers raised the red flags. The feds are doing their job, no matter how much Newsom wants to spin the story.
Dig a little deeper and things start to look even uglier. Reports reveal that these probes involve Newsom’s own wife’s taxes—potentially linked to nonprofit money, because of course the left loves playing fast and loose with “charity” cash. And as if that’s not enough, there are even more problems tied to his former Chief of Staff. You know there’s trouble when staffers are already pleading guilty to fraud and lying to federal agents. It’s the same old story with Democrats: preach about ethics, but don’t follow any of the rules themselves.
And how does Team Newsom respond? With childish internet memes. When confronted with serious criticism from the Attorney General, all his press cronies could manage was a dumb gif. Is this how the supposed leader of America’s biggest state answers corruption claims—by posting jokes online? It shows exactly how little respect the left has for any process that threatens their power, their privilege, or their “woke” narrative.
Americans have had enough of these games. If Gavin Newsom has nothing to hide, why not welcome the investigation? If he’s actually innocent, why does every Democrat meltdown look like a guilty man panicking? The left screams “abuse of power” while their own closets are overflowing with skeletons. Anyone still falling for their act isn’t paying attention—or doesn’t care about the truth. How many more crooked liberal politicians need to get caught before voters open their eyes?
