Two hundred and fifty years ago, a group of just 56 men stood up and changed everything. With the strength of their convictions—and yes, with the help of God’s divine providence—they dared to defy the biggest empire on earth. The result? The United States of America. A beacon of freedom for the whole world. Today, far too many liberals want to apologize for our nation’s history, as if the founding of America was some kind of mistake. That’s nonsense.
These patriots risked their lives and fortunes for a simple but powerful idea: that people are born with rights. Not rights handed out by the government, or by self-important politicians, but rights given by God. The American Revolution wasn’t just another political shake-up. It was the spark that lit a fire of liberty worldwide. Of course, you won’t hear that in the average university history class these days, where professors seem more interested in painting the Founders as villains than heroes.
It’s worth remembering: These men weren’t just fighting for themselves. They were fighting for generations yet unborn—fighting so that future Americans, like us, could say what we believe, worship as we choose, and live free from the iron fist of out-of-touch rulers. Compare that spirit to the pathetic weakness coming from today’s left-wing elites. They cozy up to globalists, trample on free speech, and act ashamed of our great country. They spit on the very flag that has guaranteed their freedom to whine in the first place.
If liberals had their way, the Founding Fathers would be erased from history entirely. They’d rather bend the knee to the woke mob and overseas powers than stand tall for American values. But you know what? The spirit of 1776 is still alive—and millions of real Americans are tired of being lectured by spoiled Ivy League crybabies who have never sacrificed a thing.
As we celebrate 250 years of America, just ask yourself: Would the men who risked everything to create this nation be impressed with what progressives have done? Or would they be shaking their heads, disgusted, as the left tries to rewrite history and dismantle everything they fought to build? Freedom didn’t come cheap. Maybe it’s time some people remembered that.
