The Democrats have finally said the quiet part out loud. Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro went on television and admitted exactly what the radical left has been hinting at for years: they want to tear apart the Supreme Court and rebuild it in their own image. Make no mistake—this is about raw power, not justice.
When Democrats say “everything is on the table,” what they mean is that no American tradition is safe from their grab for total control. Today it’s the Supreme Court they’re targeting. Tomorrow, it’ll be the Constitution itself. The left can’t get their way at the ballot box, so now they want to rig the highest court in the land to rubber-stamp their failed, socialist agenda. This is the kind of “reform” you hear about in third-world countries led by dictators and globalist elites.
Where was all this talk about “reform” when liberals loved every Supreme Court decision handed down? Suddenly, the court isn’t playing along with their woke policies, and now it’s time to blow everything up. It’s pure hypocrisy. They whine about “democracy,” but when democracy doesn’t give them what they want, they throw a tantrum and try to change the rules.
This isn’t radical reform. It’s radical destruction. Shapiro and his left-wing buddies want to destroy the checks and balances that keep America free. They’re playing with fire, but they don’t care about the consequences. For them, America’s founding values are just old obstacles to be smashed by any means necessary.
The American people aren’t stupid. They can see right through these power-hungry antics. If the left can’t respect the Supreme Court, what makes us think they’ll respect any of our freedoms? Maybe it’s time someone asked Josh Shapiro: if everything is really on the table, just how much of America is he willing to burn down to get his way?
