The Real Socialists? Rich, White, and Out of Touch
Let’s finally admit the truth that the left tries to hide. The so-called “revolution” behind American socialism isn’t coming from working class black or Hispanic families. It’s coming straight from ultra-privileged, college-educated, mostly white elites. These are the people who sip their lattes in fancy neighborhoods, preach about “equity,” and push radical ideas that ruin cities while never paying the price themselves.
Look at who actually votes for these socialist fat cats. Studies and voter data show that support for socialism in the Democrat Party is highest among white, high-income, and highly educated voters—especially the under-40 crowd. Meanwhile, black and Hispanic Democrats have little interest in this failed ideology. Most seem rightly wary or undecided, probably because they’ve seen what big government gets you: higher crime, closed schools, lost jobs, and neighborhoods ignored by the elites in charge.
The media loves blaming America’s problems on immigration. But the numbers prove that socialism isn’t an “imported” problem at all. This disaster is homegrown. It’s not immigrants kicking up the dust in city halls or voting in socialist hardliners like what’s happened in New York City. It’s trust fund progressives and woke college graduates who are pushing this nonsense the hardest. These phonies claim to fight for the people, but they’re really just bored rich kids trying to play revolution between brunches.
Here’s the hard pill: you can’t fix this with a border wall or a new immigration law. This infection started in America’s own schools and universities, where Marxist professors and left-wing activists—many from comfy upbringings—teach the next generation to resent success and love government handouts. Too many conservative politicians ignored the cultural rot. They let the left control the narrative, demonize business, and pretend as if government is the answer to every problem. Now we’re seeing the results—rampant anti-capitalism and the fantasy that socialism leads anywhere except disaster.
It’s not just a matter of policy failure. It’s a cultural collapse driven by self-important liberals who are too pampered to understand what real struggle looks like. While normal Americans hustle to pay their bills, these “socialists” think posting an activist hashtag is the same as hard work. The hypocrisy is infuriating.
So next time a progressive tries to tell you socialism is a movement of the oppressed, set them straight. The only thing being oppressed is common sense—by a bunch of arrogant, wealthy, college-degree-carrying socialists, right here in our own backyard. Maybe it’s time we ask the real question: aren’t you tired of being lectured about “equity” by the most privileged people in America?
