Sanctuary cities, promises of amnesty, and refusing to finish the wall created a giant welcome sign for anyone willing to cross the border illegally. Now, after letting the problem explode, suddenly the left wants credit for scrambling to scoop up the mess. This isn’t a strategy. It’s damage control.
Meanwhile, hardworking Americans pay the price. Our schools are overwhelmed, hospitals are strained, and streets get less safe. Illegal border crossings fuel drug cartels and human traffickers who don’t care about the rule of law.
