Iran has just proven, yet again, that change in leadership means nothing when you’re still shackled by the same rotten ideology. The recent takeover of Tehran’s historic St. Peter Evangelical Church is a glaring assault on freedom and decency. Twenty families have been kicked to the curb, all because the so-called “new” rulers are no different from the tyrants before them. These are not leaders—they are jailers, desperate to crush anything that dares to look different or pray differently.
While liberal elites and globalist apologists love to pretend there’s hope for change in Iran, the facts tell a much darker story. The regime isn’t evolving; it’s digging in deeper. Christian families living in peace, caring for an old church, suddenly forced out—this is what radicalism looks like when left unchecked. Where’s the outcry from the Western activists who never miss a chance to apologize for every other country’s “misunderstandings”? Silence, as usual.
The left spends so much time lecturing Americans about inclusion and tolerance, but where are they when real persecution happens overseas? Instead of demanding accountability, too many Democrat politicians and their media cheerleaders rush to placate Iranian leaders, eager to sign deals or lift sanctions. It’s embarrassing. While American families grapple with threats at home and abroad, the Biden administration and its friends seem content to look away, all to keep their dreams of a globalist utopia alive.
Meanwhile, the only predictable thing about Iran is this never-ending attack on basic rights. Regimes like this don’t respect borders or beliefs. They don’t care about history or heritage, only about absolute control. Ask the families who woke up to armed men demanding they leave the only home they have known. That’s not a mistake; that’s the plan. And it should send a chill down the spine of anyone who still believes in freedom of religion.
America needs real leaders—not globalists or woke cowards—who are willing to call out evil for what it is. If liberals spent half as much energy defending persecuted Christians as they did pushing their own twisted narratives, maybe the world wouldn’t be watching Christian families thrown into the street while our leaders look the other way. When will the West wake up and admit that the only thing that’s changed in Iran is the mask?
