The world just got another brutal reminder: American lives are up for grabs when weak leaders and failed global policies run the show. In Papua, New Guinea, a separatist group bragged about shooting down an American pilot—just because he was doing his job, flying troops into a conflict zone. This wasn’t some random act of violence. It was as calculated as it was cowardly.
The pilot, an American citizen, landed in a remote area and was apparently warned by these so-called “freedom fighters” to stay away. Their idea of justice? Slaughter an innocent man and torch his aircraft. Their excuse? They don’t like what the United States, Indonesia, or the so-called international community has—or hasn’t—done for their “cause.” These thugs claim civilian planes are used for military purposes, so they justify murder. And the world just shrugs.
It’s always the same story. Radical groups scream about oppression and foreign involvement, but the real victims are those stuck in their crossfire—including Americans just trying to do their jobs. If the roles were reversed, the leftist press and their globalist friends would be howling for heads to roll. But because it’s a far-flung place and it’s not politically convenient, there’s little outrage. Where are Joe Biden and his foreign policy brain trust? As silent as ever—maybe too busy accusing Americans of “extremism” here at home to care about actual extremists abroad.
This separatist army, which has already been tied to the murders of civilians in the name of their cause, doesn’t want peace. They want chaos and bloodshed. And the so-called international community, including the useless United Nations, does what it always does—talks a big game while innocent people die. Where’s the accountability? Where’s the action?
Americans serving overseas don’t need more empty statements from globalist bureaucrats or politicians who bend over backwards to appease every radical group on the planet. They need real leadership. How many more Americans must pay the price before our leaders get their heads out of the sand? If defending our own citizens isn’t a top priority, what is?
