For all the big talk about “progress,” liberals somehow keep forgetting who gave them the freedom to barbecue, buy a few beers, and hit the road this long weekend. It’s July 3, 2026. Independence Day gets observed today—with the federal government’s stamp of approval—because nobody actually wants to party on a random Saturday. Americans know how to make the most out of a holiday. Only Washington bureaucrats would try to schedule our Fourth of July fun for when it’s convenient for them, not us.
We celebrate because of the courage and grit of men who risked death to give us this nation. Our Founding Fathers didn’t ask King George for permission to pop fireworks or grill burgers—they took liberty into their own hands. When we fire up the grill today, we’re honoring their guts, not some bureaucratic decree from the federal government. Try telling today’s woke elites and globalist puppets that personal freedom matters more than government control—they’d rather you stay home, wear a mask, and beg for another stimulus check.
Under this administration, it feels like every day is a fight to keep that original spirit alive. Liberals love lecturing about their so-called “progress,” but they sure don’t mind cashing in on the traditions real Americans built. They sneer at patriotism until there’s an extra paid day off. Hypocrisy? You bet. Plenty of Democrats are probably out on the lake today, acting like they love America—but last week, they were posting about America’s “flaws” and “systemic oppression.” Funny how their tune changes when there’s a hot dog in one hand and a beer in the other.
Deep down, Americans know who built this country. It wasn’t D.C. paper-pushers, pampered Hollywood millionaires, or foreign bureaucrats whining about “global standards.” It was everyday citizens—farmers, workers, soldiers—armed with faith and a bold vision. And yet, every election cycle, liberals tell us to hand over more control to the very government our ancestors broke free from. They want “equity” over freedom and handouts over hard work.
So today, while you’re flipping burgers, think about what it took to get here. Are we going to let the same kinds of bureaucrats we rebelled against tell us how to live? Or are we finally ready to reclaim that independent American spirit that made this country the envy of the world? The fireworks didn’t start in 1776 just for show—are we still brave enough to hold the torch, or have we handed it off to the ruling class? The answer is up to us.
