Once again, the left just got a taste of reality. While liberals are busy rewriting history and erasing America’s greatness, this week saw President Trump notch an important legal victory for people who still love this country and respect its past.
A federal appeals court — the famously liberal First Circuit, no less — actually sided with the Trump administration regarding historical displays in our national parks. It’s almost shocking to see common sense emerge from a liberal court, but even blind squirrels find a nut now and then. The court saw right through the ridiculous attempt to block these displays, granting a stay and letting Trump’s vision for our parks go forward while the case is fought out.
Why do the leftists hate these displays so much? It’s simple: they despise anything that reminds Americans of our real heritage. They would rather see national parks become sanitized, politically correct wastelands than showcase the events and figures that made this country great. They’ll jump at any excuse to scrub away tradition, all in service of their woke agenda.
Meanwhile, the so-called “enlightened” legal minds at the lower courts tried to put up roadblocks, issuing their pathetic injunction in the hopes they could micromanage what Americans are allowed to see in their own national parks. It’s classic left-wing arrogance — they think they know better than the rest of us and will use any trick in the book to push their propaganda.
So here’s the truth, plain and simple: Americans want to see and celebrate their own history, flaws and all. Nobody asked for a lecture from liberal elites trying to whitewash our past or shame us for our national pride. President Trump deserves credit for standing up to these globalist, anti-American forces. The establishment tried to pull another fast one, but for once, the court sided with the people. Maybe the Left should try listening to Americans for a change. Or is that too much to ask?
