As of July 4th, the federal government is ditching the ridiculous taxpayer subsidies that have been keeping these so-called “green energy” scams alive for years. That’s right—no more free rides for failing wind farms and those ugly solar panels covering our farmland.

Let’s put things in perspective: the government has already blown around $141 billion on these pie-in-the-sky projects. That’s hard-earned American money—your money—poured down the drain to please climate alarmists and curry favor with eco-billionaires. And for what? Unreliable power, rolling blackouts, and junk “solutions” that still depend on good old coal or gas when the sun doesn’t shine or the wind refuses to blow.

Of course, liberal politicians and their friends in the media will cry foul. They love to pretend these subsidies are “investments” in our future—like we’ll all be living in perfect harmony if only we give up our cars, turn off our air conditioners, and pray for windier weather. Meanwhile, Americans who actually work for a living are footing the bill, while global elites sip champagne and toast to their “climate progress.”

Why did it take so long? Because for decades, leftist lawmakers, corporate opportunists, and foreign interests have pushed junk science and bad deals. They’ve acted shocked when the “jobs revolution” never showed up, pretending it was worth every penny to sabotage our own oil and gas industries. The only “green” that really got manufactured here was the taxpayer cash lining the pockets of political cronies.

So let’s celebrate this July 4th for more than fireworks and parades. The government finally made a move for freedom—freedom from waste, hypocrisy, and phony climate crusaders.
