Liberals shame America while Japan throws a massive party for our 250th birthday

When America’s 250th birthday rolled around, you might’ve expected our so-called “allies” to offer a bland press release or, at best, toss a half-hearted salute our way. But look at Japan. They didn’t hesitate. They lit up Tokyo—yes, the same city that was once our enemy during the darkest days of the 20th century—in a bold celebration of American greatness. While elites here at home love to apologize for our “sins,” Japan reminds the world how far we’ve come. Not only were U.S. diplomats celebrating, but regular Japanese folks joined in—proving real friendship looks a lot different than all the fake, globalist handshakes on TV.

It’s amazing, isn’t it? While liberals busy themselves tearing down statues and rewriting our history, our friends across the Pacific are honoring America’s legacy with fireworks and a genuine sense of awe. Maybe if leftists in the U.S. dropped their woke lectures for five minutes, they’d see that American values are still admired—especially by those who understand the price of freedom. Japan’s embrace of America 250 should be a wake-up call for the ankle-biters in Congress who hate this country and everything it stands for.

Some will say it’s just symbolism. But these moments matter. Japan could have done nothing. Instead, they showed gratitude for what America did after the war—helping rebuild a nation into a peaceful, modern powerhouse. Compare that to the snickers we get from the so-called intellectual class here at home, people who’d rather celebrate every country except their own. It’s pathetic.

The left pushes globalism and tells Americans to forget our history. But here’s Japan, proving that strong, sovereign nations can be friends without sacrificing their identity. Maybe this is what real diplomacy looks like—two proud countries, standing side by side, instead of bending to the New World Order or whatever the Davos crowd is cooking up next.

So, next time you hear a liberal whining about “American imperialism,” remember Tokyo lighting up the night for America 250. Maybe these critics should book a flight to Japan and take notes. The world could use more of this kind of unapologetic friendship—and a lot less of the anti-American poison infecting our own backyard.
