Hollywood elites trash Trump and July 4 while real Americans celebrate

The Hollywood elite just can’t help themselves, can they? Instead of celebrating America’s 250th birthday like the rest of the country, spoiled celebrities like Sarah Jessica Parker and Mark Ruffalo decided to play political theater. On July 4, as patriotic families were enjoying fireworks and flags, Tinseltown’s star-studded crowd put on a big, preachy video about—of all things—“tyranny.” And guess who they want Americans to believe is the big tyrant? President Donald Trump, of course.

This is what always happens when left-wing actors get bored. They act like they know what’s best for everyone, even though they live behind giant gates and never step foot in the real world. Molly Ringwald, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and a handful more of these so-called champions of “democracy” joined in, reading lines with the seriousness you might expect from a soap opera. While the country reflects on freedom, these limousine liberals try to scare people about a coming dictatorship.

The hypocrisy is stunning. These are the same Hollywood types who ignore true oppression around the globe. Never a word about China’s crackdowns or the collapse of basic rights in socialist countries. Their only real problem is a President who dares to stand up for America. The minute someone challenges their cushy status, they cry tyranny and act as if the Oval Office is turning into a throne room.

Of course, globalist interests are never far behind in these acts. With author Timothy Snyder helping write the script, the stars push a message straight out of the progressive playbook: America’s traditions and values are dangerous if they don’t line up with their own. They want you scared of your own nation’s history and anyone who doesn’t buy into their ideology.

Let’s call this what it is—a staged attack on America’s backbone by a handful of pampered celebrities who fear losing control. While patriotic Americans lit sparklers and sang “God Bless America,” the Hollywood set tried to put out the fire of freedom. Maybe instead of lecturing us, these actors should try listening for a change. But then again, when was the last time Hollywood gave a fair shot to the real America?
