Kamala Harris must think the American people are idiots. How else can you explain her latest performance on Independence Day? Instead of celebrating what makes this nation great or honoring the freedom so many have fought and died for, Harris spouted the usual empty, shallow talking points. She can’t give us a single honest word about what the Fourth of July truly means. The Vice President keeps shoveling pre-packaged nonsense, hoping Americans won’t notice.
It’s like she’s allergic to plain truth. We all know the far-left is obsessed with erasing history or rewriting it whenever it suits their “woke” agenda. But on a day meant to honor our independence, Harris twisted it into another meaningless publicity stunt—full of big words and zero substance. No mention of American courage, no thanks for the sacrifices of real patriots, just fluffy bumper-sticker babble that wouldn’t move a middle school class to applause.
Liberals love to virtue signal, but Harris is in a league of her own. When given the chance to talk about liberty and sacrifice, she somehow manages to make it about herself, or about whatever issue polling at the DNC tells her to push. Does anyone really buy her act anymore? Even her supporters seem to cringe. Americans are hungry for authentic leaders who cherish our values—not political hacks soaking up the spotlight.
Maybe this is what happens when you spend your career climbing ladders instead of standing up for something real. Harris shows time and again she’s more comfortable reading poll-tested scripts than actually connecting with everyday Americans. This is what liberal incompetence looks like: lots of noise, zero heart, and absolutely no respect for the facts that actually matter.
If Harris and the left had their way, Independence Day would be just another excuse to scold Americans about how “unfair” their own country is. But the real question is this: on the day we celebrate freedom, why does our Vice President sound like she’s embarrassed by it? Maybe she should read the Declaration of Independence instead of her note cards for once.
