Michigan’s liberal elite just suffered another humiliating blow. State Senator Mallory McMorrow is bowing out of the U.S. Senate race—her campaign flattened by her own scandals, hypocrisy, and the total disconnect between Democrat leaders and the state they want to rule. This is the same McMorrow who built her brand on leftist outrage, attacking Donald Trump every chance she got and telling Michigan voters what’s best for them. Too bad her own actions revealed what she really thought of the Midwest and the people she pretended to care about.
The cracks were obvious from the start. McMorrow was exposed for scrubbing thousands of old tweets that were packed with insults about Michigan and glowing nostalgia for California—her real home until not so long ago. So while she pretended to be a proud Michigander, she secretly couldn’t wait to go back to sunny globalist utopia. And let’s not forget: she even called cars “dead” and complained about Michigan weather—pretty rich considering Michigan’s auto industry and hardworking residents depend on those very cars she mocks.
But it didn’t stop there. It turns out McMorrow wants to lecture on “affordability,” yet couldn’t be bothered to pay her own water bill—racking up thousands in unpaid utilities at her expensive home. She pushed for water affordability policies, all while skipping out on her own responsibilities. Typical liberal playbook: rules for thee, but not for me.
Her virtue signaling was next level. She smeared Trump supporters as Nazis, yet her own party was busy coddling candidates with literal Nazi tattoos. That’s Democrat logic for you: while they peddle woke outrage, they turn a blind eye to extremism in their own ranks. And in the end, her so-called moderate stance couldn’t even satisfy the socialist left. She got bulldozed by the very radicals her party created.
Now, Michigan Democrats are left with a choice between socialists and political insiders. Meanwhile, the sane majority has the chance to send a real leader—like Republican Mike Rogers—to Washington. It’s time to stop letting these anti-American, self-interested grifters run the show. Maybe next time, Michigan will pick someone who actually respects the state, its workers, and America’s values. Or will they keep buying what the radical left is selling?
