Once again, the liberal elite get themselves tangled up in trouble and expect regular Americans to just look the other way. Paul Pelosi, husband to none other than Nancy Pelosi, is now facing a criminal probe after allegedly fleeing the scene of a car crash in California. Evidently, the rules that apply to the rest of us—like sticking around after you hit someone’s car—don’t mean much to the Pelosi family. Why should we be surprised? Time and time again, these coastal elites act as if laws are just for the “little people.”
It’s laughable to think some politicians and their families see themselves as America’s noble class. They push for more rules, higher taxes, and endless regulations, all while behaving like they’re exempt from the consequences. Here, we see a powerful family member allegedly running away from the responsibility of a crash, hoping no one would notice. But ordinary citizens have seen enough of the double standards. If any one of us had committed a hit and run, we’d be booked and fingerprinted immediately—no questions asked.
Even more infuriating is the media’s jaw-dropping ability to ignore stories that don’t make liberals look good. Imagine if this had been someone related to a Republican leader—there’d be wall-to-wall coverage, footage, and breathless outrage. But as long as you have a “D” next to your name or close power ties to the establishment, the press shrugs and moves on. The hypocrisy is as plain as day, and Americans are sick of it.
Let’s not forget these are the same globalist elites who love to tell hard-working families how to live. They demand “equity,” preach “fairness,” and claim to care about “justice,” but their own actions do nothing but spit in the face of those values. While the Pelosis sip cocktails in their gated mansions, the middle class is left to foot the bill and apparently, to pick up the pieces after their reckless behavior.
Are we going to let elites set one set of rules for themselves and another for the rest of us? Or is it finally time that Americans demand equal justice—for everyone? There’s only one thing certain: If the Pelosis can run from accountability, what’s stopping the rest of the swamp from doing exactly the same?
